Eczema trial Week 4 (Final Results)

Week 4 of our eczema trial has concluded, and we're thrilled with the results. The participants have completed the trial, and the outcomes have exceeded our expectations.

Throughout this trial, we've gained significant insights into eczema, including various triggers such as skin type, stress, diet, and seasonal changes, all of which can impact and initiate flare-up episodes.

During this final week, we continued using the Hyper Blend modality for participants who had already achieved remarkable results. If their itchiness, redness, and dryness scores were between 1-3 on our 10-point scale, they were encouraged to continue use, with a final assessment at the end of the trial.

A key observation from participants is that any flare-ups experienced now typically last a day at most. This is a considerable improvement from the prolonged and often painful flare-ups common among eczema sufferers. Participants shared feedback such as, "I’m loving the oil, it has taken a day for the flare-up to go," and "I haven’t had any bad flare-ups while using the oil; my eczema seems to be slowly fading away."

We also noted the importance of perseverance during the trial. The best overall results were seen in participants who consistently applied the extract daily (even better twice daily), even when it initially felt "uncomfortable." Their dedication, even when feeling discouraged, was rewarded with eczema-free skin.

Another important finding was the impact of prior steroid use. Some participants experienced a withdrawal period that irritated their skin. This suggests that initial flare-ups at the beginning of the trial were not caused by our product, but rather by the body's reaction to steroid withdrawal.

For six participants, we adjusted the protocol. Since eczema affects individuals differently, we explored whether the extract needed to be re-evaluated for them. We transitioned these participants to the MN8 moisturiser, which already contains our extract, and added a pure form of the Full Spectrum Manuka extract to boost it to about 3%.

After a few days, three of these participants reported significant relief, with their discomfort levels dropping from 7 to 4. Their feedback included: "Loving the moisturiser. Twice a day application seems to be the best option," and "Much better result after trying the cream, with just 2 times a day; can see the skin is not as red and dry compared to before." Although the trial is now concluded, these participants continue to work with us as we strive to find the optimal solution for their specific needs.

Overall, we are very pleased with the effectiveness of our product and optimistic about future developments. We will continue our research and development efforts to optimize our products and provide even more effective solutions.
